CLEVELAND SQUARE FIREWORKS

 

After over 40 years of November 5th fireworks in Cleveland Square and with the ever increasing red tape, costs and insurance restrictions put upon us, we are sadly no longer able to put on our much loved evening of fireworks in the magnificent way we used to. Moving forward we are trying out a far more modest and low key fireworks display only for residents of Cleveland Square and Cleveland Gardens.

Unfortunately tickets will not to be available the general public.

OTHER REGULAR CLEVELAND SQUARE RESIDENTS EVENTS

July is a busy time in the garden and it was so good to see the return of the long standing Residents Summer Party in July 2022 - It was a wonderful evening of dinning al fresco on communal tables with friends, neighbours music and dancing along with an amazing Brazilian churrasco BBQ.

​

One of the gardens real treats in the past years has been the open air play put on by the theatre company Shakespeare in the Square. Over the past two years due the company have had to postpone all their performances due to covid. We are happy to say that Shakespeare in the Square returned in July 2022 with a wonderful performance of The Tempest. 

 

For over 25 years Cleveland Square has hosted The South East Bayswater Residents Associations (SEBRA) annual summer party where the great and the good of Westminster assemble and make merry. Like all the other long standing parties in the gardens SEBRA was back.

The Cleveland Square Kids Party happens in early September with with a bounce and bouncy castle,  face painters, a petting zoos, traditional games, pottery, art competitions and of course pimms for the adults.

PRIVATE PARTIES FOR CLEVELAND SQUARE RESIDENTS

Residents of Cleveland Square and Cleveland Gardens can apply to have private parties in the gardens.

All gatherings of over 14 peoples in the garden require permission from the Committee in advance.
